So we start 2011 with an 8 month Jack russell (Holly, pic to follow), an 18 month Rhodesian Ridgeback (Bruce also pic to follow), and a very damp neglected Allotment plot to be planned .. hence 147, the plot number. So now I have a plot.. or a plan for the plot? Seeds acquired, peas, carrots, purple broccoli, cabbage, romaine lettuce, and potatoes (can't remember the variety I threw the Tesco bag out but they are sprouting, so they'll do!
The pups we have done most of the training and are both doing quite well together, Holly has some possessive/agressive issues, Bruce is starting to show dominance but only because he is 'intact'. Everybody loves them both though.
We live in a 3 bedroom ex council house, work in progress, with a garden which needs landscaping. I have the plans for that too, just wondering whether I have the effort/resource to carry out said designs or whether I can convince Alan Titchmarsh and Jimmy W to head over for assistance.
I like to dabble in crafts and painting using different media/ums/ii? watercolour is my forte, and self taught crochet after picking up my late and much loved Aunt Hazel's cottons and patterns.
AND, meanwhile I will be 40 and my mum 65 so a joint birthday/retirement shindig is in the planning :-). So far, so good, that will do for a start.
